Playing plunder makes you realize how BAD some people are

Okay, the title sounds kinda of mean, but I swear I have a point.

Playing games, you kind of know that there are levels. Most people are average, alot of people are bad, and theres some very good competitive players. In 99% of games I play, I never interact with that section of “bad” players since matchmaking usually prevents me from doing so. However, since I’m doing the camo grind for a abyss, I’ve been playing alot of plunder and holy shit. These people are CLUELESS.

I spend 90% of my game killing people and feeling BAD about it because they literally had no chance. Im out here dropping 40 kill games with the SVD while I’m killing people that I don’t even think could do that with walls and the most meta build in the game. And of course, when I say bad i’m referring to skill level, but theres also the fact that they just have no idea anything about the game. I swear, they assume that anyone that knows how to sprint and slide is cheating. You see it in all chat, people saying “(name) is rage cheating in old town!”, and I go over there and its like the most painfully average controller player that doesnt even resemble a cheater whatsoever.

I think plunder made me realize that I really dont understand the bottom 10% of the game. I always had the idea that casuals just werent as good as the rest of us, but that they still knew what they were doing. But that couldnt be more wrong at all.

This just makes some of the posts you see in this subreddit, youtube/twitter replies, complaints, etc make so much more sense. The posts you read and just go “what the hell are you talking about?”, is just these players. They honestly, genuinely dont know what theyre talking about, and in all honesty, its why the community is so split. Activision tries to cater to everyone, and doing so they try to cater to these people that shouldnt even have an opinion to start with (controversial but I stand by it).

EDIT: Before you comment disagreeing and saying youre not actually bad at the game, let me say something. If you sit on a roof, set up blast mines, spring traps, shock charges etc, do contracts for 15 minutes straight and deposit cash all game, all while running in a 4 stack with XM4s and Jackals, you arent actually good. The reason you win, is because nobody else in the lobby is actually trying to win. Youre basically competing against 2 other teams in a lobby of 100+ people running around doing camos and going for kills. Dont let plunder wins fuel your ego.
