Unpopular Opinion: The CFP is best thing to happen to College Football.

Now hear me out. Regardless of the format or how the committee picked which teams got to play in the post season invitational, the last two teams standing deserve to be there.

Think about it.

Ohio State beat #7 Tennessee, #1 Oregon, #3 Texas and #5 Notre Dame to win the title.

Notre Dame beat #8 Indiana, #2 Georgia, #4 Penn State and #6 Ohio State to win it all.

Regardless of how your schedule was for the entire season, if you can rattle off 4 straight wins against basically top 10 teams, you are the best football team that year.

Even if you expand the tourney to 16 teams, the cream will rise to the top…just like the 68 NCAA Tourney.
