Can you get partial credit if you select the wrong option?

Say there are three options to select from and you need to justify why the others are wrong (7pts total, 2 per justification). You select the wrong option, so two of the justifications are incorrect. However, you got the third one correct. Do you get 2 points in this case, or do you get 0? I read somewhere that if you select the wrong option the grader won't look at your answer.
