Please read I need help.
To start things off, I looked up things online but I just can’t find what I’m looking for and I’m scared and I want to hear from people who have cats or have been through it.
About three days ago, me and my partner brought home our newborn baby home. It’s our first baby (human baby). We have a cat who up until last night was for the last two years, the most kind, social, approachable, cuddly, energetic, food obsessed, talkative, amazing little guy. Last night he started throwing up. It was strange but not like I had never seen it before. He threw up his dinner and I cleaned it up. Afterward, he was still approachable. He still was normal just a little off because he threw up. Later on throughout the night, he would continue throwing up like 7 times. It’s now about noon and I can’t even approach him. He doesn’t want to eat, he won’t sleep, he won’t move from one spot, he won’t let me pick him up. He has a chicken on a string on a stick which is his favorite thing and he doesn’t care for it. He won’t let me touch his belly which he always loved. He was fine after the first couple pukes but now he’s just not normal. And before anyone says anything, like “call a vet”, just please sympathize with me. I’m trying to find answers and find possible common issues people had and see if there are solutions or if my boys clock is ticking. I don’t want him to die from depression or starve himself and ofc I would take him to a vet before he did that. Just, please I need some answers. I really love him. He’s my best friend. I literally couldn’t do life without him.
