I’m angry now

This is the third time I’ve my man has told me that “I’m too good for him” and no matter how much they think that’s a compliment it really just pisses me off. If I’m such an amazing person why can’t YOU put in the work to meet my needs to help our relationship thrive? If it was such an amazing and healthy relationship why are YOU throwing it away?

Am I going to keep going through life heating that I’m too good for anyone? That’s fucking BLEAK.
