Winter Warmth Ideas

I know we are still in summer but just trying to plan ahead for my first winter.

I do not have a garage and currently have no charging at home.

Has anyone experimented with an insulated car cover? Something to throw over the bolt when I get home to help keep the battery warm for when it's really cold in Chicago?
