SIKANDAR Is A Remake

Salman Khan's forthcoming film starring Rashmika Mandana, Kajal Aggarwal, Suniel Shetty, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar. Directed & Written by A.R . Murugadoss is a remake of Thalapathy Vijay starrer Sarkar which was also directed by A.R. Murugadoss. The films budget is close to 400 crore. The makers have till now kept the news of Sikandar being a remake of Sarkar under the wraps. Sarkar was a very generic film with mediocre storyline. Sarkar was not a big hit whatever it earned was cause of Thalapathy Vijay's star power. Salman Khan's last clean hit film was Tiger Zinda Hai back in 2017. it will be interesting to see how NGE promote this film since after the release of the trailer of Sikandar it will be clear as day light that it's a remake of Sarkar.
