About Dabi's situation...

With chapter 425 finally out, I'm quite surprised with how much has changed since the war. It's so surprising that class A are now second years and that Shinso's officially joining them. But then again, I still have a lot of questions regarding who exactly that man is, what Deku's brand new quirk is gonna be, and most of all, what exactly is going on with Dabi?

Speaking of Dabi, I'm not really that surprised that he made it out of this. From the last time we saw him, he was just barely a pile of bones. But absolutely what in the world is up with him and how the hell did he manage to survive? This has left me wondering what will eventually happen to him moving forward, considering how badly damaged his body was during the war.

In my opinion, I think that treatment he received from the hospital isn't enough to save him, and he only has a few days left to live. The bacta tank kind of tube that he is currently in is only delaying the process and serving as his life support, but it cannot stop the inevitable.

Now what does this mean for the Todorokis? I get that they do wanna keep him alive for long since they regret not being able to be there for him when he needed them the most.

But just as I said earlier, given his current state, especially with what happened to him during the battle, it is highly improbable that he will still be able to make it through. Which is why they must decide on whether they should let him live on and continue suffering or to just let him go, which is probably what's best for him at this point.

Man, I really do hope that Hori does the whole plotline some justice in the next chapter. Though it could be tragic, I still want it all to end in a very good note and not in a huge asspull kinda like what happened with Shiggy. Whether or not this ending does indeed result in Dabi's death, it must provide both him and the others with the proper closure they need.
