Bob Marley Shooting- Did One Love get it right?

In the Marley documentary they said when Bob got shot, it was amateur af like someone reached their arm in the door and started shooting blind. Nobody ever said he looked him dead in the eyes and had a clear shot at him, or that the shooter later came back. Anybody wonder how accurate this was in the movie? I get that it’s Hollywood and I thought the movie was really good, just wondering how accurate this part of the story was.
