Rick tolerance?
I’ve recently been seeing a lot of content from various age groups complaining about work and the current structure we have in corporate America. The common theme is nobody wants to work 40 hours a week for 40 years (for an employer at least), to which I say I agree. I just turned 27 and am finally starting to feel better about my finances since graduating college 5 years ago. I have a nice cushion built thanks to putting all extra savings into Bitcoin.
But I’m more so curious as to the mindset of the majority of the population, because so many of them still think Bitcoin is a scam/going to zero. And yet we are in agreement about the current structure of the corporate world.
I mean people’s appetite for risk is next to nothing in my opinion. I wouldn’t be able to convince my family members to throw $5 into it, yet they still want to complain about working for the rest of their lives. I guess it just shows how early we still are. I’ve always known I wanted to take big swings while I’m young because I know it just gets harder once the responsibilities add up. But why are so many people so risk intolerant?
