Has anyone resolved chronic puffy eyes? Looking for anecdotal solutions

About 5 years ago (prior to covid lifestyle changes) I only got puffy eyes when I traveled on an airplane or drank a bit much in one day, and the puffiness would resolve in 1-2 days. Now, I seem to wake up with puffy eyes every day, some days better other days worse. Not looking for "welp, you're old now" responses, because we are biohackers. I know for a fact that something is causing this issue to fluctuate, but it's persistent. Please help if you can!

Other context:

  • I've struggled with eczema in the past, and I tend to have seasonal allergies to pollen and mold. Is there some link here? Does anyone have antihistamine solutions that have worked?
  • I've been inconsistent in cutting out things like dairy and wheat - is it worth testing more strictly?
  • I don't do much cardio - but I used to walk and jog 10+ miles per week in 2019, < 1 mile per week now. I just do some pilates.
  • Wine is my vice, and like many people I had been having a glass or two of wine with dinner most nights for the "first three years" of the pandemic. However, I recently cut it out entirely. Has anyone noticed a link between moderate alcohol and puffy eyes?
  • I've never gotten blood work done. If someone has resolved puffy eyes with a problem identified with some blood panel, please share your experience!
