Tax accounting advice

Hello, Big4 Reddit,

I am a sophomore business student at a top 25 business school and just received an offer from KPMG for their 2026 tax accounting position internship in NYC. I am still unsure about tax as a whole, but to those who work in tax, what is it that you enjoy, dislike, find passion in. What gets you to get up in the morning and be excited for your job. Bonus points if you work at KPMG! I appreciate any advice as I am very young and new to accounting.
