Big fat alien wedding is interesting
I know Omniverse made them officially Tennysons but they’re better as coworkers who are just close with Max. I am not a fan of the family business trope I feel like it takes away from peoples agency and freewill to choose their own destinies so Max having a brother and his wife who are also plumbers and they have a son who’s also a plumber it’s a bit much. I know in real life this sort of thing happens but I don’t like it
I feel like they should’ve just been kept as Max’s old plumber buddies who he is really close with hence why dude calls him uncle. Coworkers can and have formed deep bonds and relationships to the point where their children grow up together and these types of relationships barely get highlighted in media
Also this episode was weird the human parents who were racists the entire time kept calling the wedding a mistake were the good guys and the alien parents who were pretty decent for most of the episode ended up being the bad guys!! I know the only reasons the aliens were the bad guys was because they wanted to have a dynamic action fight scene to end the episode but still atleast they should’ve had the Manns be against the wedding the whole time and they were the racist or have the human parents team up with the ex boyfriend to shut the wedding down it wouldn’t make for a good action scene but it would make sense
