Headless 6-string basses with regular fretboards?
I got the Ibanez EHB1506 and initially loved it. Now I’m selling it (hmu if you’re interested), but I really love the size and weight of the headless bass. Not knocking into things with the headstock is a huge bonus, and it’s so much easier to carry. The EHB is chambered, so it is EXTRA light, but I feel like the tone is affected very subtly- especially when compared with my ESP LTD which is dense and heavy but sounds great. The multiscale fretboard is pretty easy to get used to for regular playing, but I’ve been playing a lot of weird chord shapes above the 12th fret and that’s where I notice it makes certain voicings (my favorite ones) a good deal harder.
Any suggestions on other headless 6 options? Preferably below $2k….
