Honour mode - How do you people do it?

Just lost my first HM try at the harpies. Very frustrating as it feels like pure luck unless there’s a countercharm early that I don’t know about?

I actually got close, had a few frustrating critical misses and received critical hit multi attacks to rub salt in the wounds and then my last character, Wyll, got lured just as he was ready to finish off the singing one.

I’m actually not specifically asking about this encounter. More in general, how do you bring yourself to just re roll and go again and have all the starter conversations and collect shitty loot to sell at the grove, respec characters to what they need to be etc…

I didn’t even get 5 hours in and I’m not sure, I’m thinking one more try and if I don’t make motivating progress like at least end of act 2 I don’t think it’s for me. (Although maybe getting that far would feel even worse haha).
