Isn't it weird how BG3 is the only sequel where...

... you're more lost if you played the first two as opposed to coming in fresh? Like

• How is Bhaal still alive? Wasn't that the whole point of 1 and 2? [edit: there was a reset between 4th and 5th edition. He's alive but only a pseudo god]
• How is Myrkul still alive? Especially since in Mask of the Betrayer you make him like, super double dead. [edit: similar deal. Also, play NWN2: MoTB it's really good.]
• How is Minsc still alive? Last I checked humans don't live that long. [edit: he was petrified and kept in stasis. This is explained in game, but I forgot. My bad]
• Why are Saravock and Viconia evil again with a cannon good GW? And again dude's human so... [edit: apparently this is explained in a source book. Sarevok still should only have a sliver of GW's soul not sure if that's enough to stay alive past his expiration date.]
