Bassinet on wheels?

I'm due in March 2024 & struggling to figure out the infant sleep setup that I want. Broadly I know we are planning on a bedside bassinet for the first 4-6 months, plus a crib in baby's room for daytime naps so they get used to it, starting sleep training in the crib hopefully around 4-6 months, and ultimately full nights in the crib soon thereafter. So what I'm really struggling with is the type of bassinet I want for those infant days!

I am leaning toward a bassinet on wheels -- but I'm curious to hear from others' experiences if I would actually use it? Like I'm envisioning wheeling it from our bedroom into the living room / kitchen / etc so baby has a safe place to chill when needed. Or is that unrealistic / unnecessary and I should just expect to have baby in other places = a bouncer, a lounger, a playmat, a wrap on me, etc. For additional context, our house is super small at ~900 sq ft and all on one floor.

If I get one on wheels, I'm really leaning toward the Stokke Sleppi Mini Crib or the Babybay Bedside Sleeper -- they're more expensive but I love the all-wood vibe. The downside of these types of bassinets is that they don't have a side that zips / lowers for getting baby in and out easily. Why am I so fixated on a bassinet with wheels? Should I just get a cheaper bassinet for the first 4-6 months and spend my money on better play mats & play pens for the living room for later when baby gets older?
