To be supported or to be understood?

Which would mean more to you? Very very rare to encounter both in a partner/friend/family member. But if you had to choose, would it be more important to be supported or to be genuinely understood? I’ve had people around me unable to understand me at all but being very supportive. Then I’ve had people who get my triggers yet still dismiss me/tell me to get a life/ f *ck off and deal with my issues on my own, zero support. Both are very lonely.
