Some comments from an old man
So I played bg1, bg2 and have done a few finishes of bg3.
Here is my elderly wisdom:
This game needs more pcs. There is so much gear, and 4 pcs just isn't enough. I want more! Just balance them with more or tougher monsters. 6 is the og bg. I want to use that awesome gear but can't because... only 4 pcs...
Level cap at 12 sucks. Why do more if you have capped out? There's no reason to complete quests once you hit 12. Just go to the brain and waste it.
Scalability. Bg2 had this down pat with monsters, they were as hard as you were able. Foes need to be tougher depending on your level.
Locked out of areas... is a bit lame. Not sure why? Acts suck.
Not every pc needs an earth shattering backstory. Shut up gale. The novelty wore off after the first playthrough.
Wandering monsters need to be a thing. Every encounter is "set" so once you know you know, and can prep. Where's the rando that make an easy battle crazy because they added?
Taddy powers have no repercussions- there's no negatives to you and everyone taking them, and it has no story repercussion either.
Fucking amazing subtlety of choices, amazing combat, great look and overall amazing game. Love it!
