I'm electrician in Belgium, would it be easy to find well paid work ?

I understand that the work of electrician is well protected in Australia. But could it be possible to find work as helper or handyman ? Would it be well paid ? Or is it better to work in other sectors, mines, farms, bars, etc. ?
