AusFinance sometimes leaves me perplexed in its contradictory thread upvoting habits
On one hand: The majority seem like they're doing fairly well financially. You only have to look at the various threads where people post their net worth or salaries to understand the demographic which frequents this sub. Most are on a healthy minimum of 500k base.
On the other: Any slight argument for negative gearing or pro investment results in people losing their minds and subconsciously debating in favour of socialistic policies. Any thread talking about housing prices collapsing results in a wave of fury and pandemonium in the form of comments and upvotes.
So are we in the rare intersection of the venn diagram on AusFinance where the middle upper class and wealthy dont support real estate investment?
