Where is all the colour?!

Spent all day looking for basics for my spring/summer wardrobe, and everything was black, brown, white or khaki! Where are the florals, sundresses, interesting patterns and designs?! I'm BORED of boxy beige matching linen, give me something feminine and pretty.
