Pre/Post Wedding Event Recommendations

I'm attending a wedding in a couple of weeks and have my wedding outfit (https://www.sheike.com.au/products/claudia-midi-dress-stripe) but there is a Welcome Drinks being held at a bar on the water and then a recovery day the day after the wedding which is a backyard bbq.

The dress code for both is smart casual but the couple is very cool and I don't want to feel like a frump.

I'm currently 6 months postpartum and in the awkward stage where most of my go to outfits don't quite fit properly and when I try to shop I feel like I either look like a teenager or a middle aged mum of 5.

I've got a couple of tops that could work but my only bottom option is jeans that are still just a touch tight (see photos). I'm not very tall (163cm) and a size 12/14 currently with a bit of a thick waist so don't particularly want to look like a rectangle.

I can get to shops pretty easily (or happy to shop online) I prefer "better" brands over cheap and nasty but can't justify $200 for a pair of pants currently.

The striped top is Sheike and the other two are Seed Heritage. Happy for entire outfit recommendations or just bottoms, plz help this stressed mum out!
