Shade Band on A7?

My first Audi is “on the truck” to the dealer. Decision time on a couple of items (tint, paint protection film, ceramic coating).

I’m getting Euro spec tint (70% LT driver and passenger, most legal on back and rear windows). My dealer rep suggested a 5” shade band on the front windshield.

Thoughts on the functionality and aesthetic value of that?

I’m conflicted. If you can’t tell from the pic, it’s Daytona Gray, black optic package. It will be debadged and have black rings. Thanks for your opinions!
