How do you avoid scams on eBay whilst selling electronics?
I usually sell electronics/old iPhones etc at CEX.
2 reasons:
1.CEX is a breeze to deal with, you walk in, they test your stuff, then send you a wad of cash.
- I don't have to deal with eBay and the potential scams etc.
The downside is obviously CEX severely underpay you the worth.
That being said, I've reviewed all the old tech and electronics I've got here and it's worth a couple of grand at CEX alone - so it's got me thinking maybe I'll take a punt on eBay to make even more but I'm wary of scammers out there.
I've got things like old iPads, iPhones, a Mac, some consoles and random electronics like mesh routers etc.
What sort of things can I do to protect myself on eBay from someone saying it's damaged, or the item didn't arrive, etc?
