Public School Teacher looking for ideas
Hi! I’m a teacher in Harlem (title 1 public school). I love to take the students out of the building as many of them are either new migrants or don’t have the means to be a tourist in their city very much. They are between the ages of 12-15. Some of them have disabilities, mild autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, etc.., but they are way more capable and fun to be around than most people would think. I wonder if you’ve visited or know about anywhere cool in any of the five boroughs that would be worthy of a field trip! Places on my list that we go to every year -Bronx Zoo, -AMNH -We are always in Central Park, and -Morgan Library. 📚
