NOLA experiences that are a “must”

My girlfriend and I will be visiting NOLA next week for the 1st time. We will be there Friday through Tuesday. What are some experiences/restaurants/attractions that are a “must”, for first time visitors? For reference, we’re 40 & 41. We like to let loose, have some drinks, and a good time, but we’re also past the party type scene. We’ve already booked the WW2 museum, a haunted pub crawl, a riverboat jazz dinner, and a few other short tours. We’ll be staying in the Garden District and already plan on purchasing Le Pass for assisting in transportation. What about the weather? We’re from North Carolina, so we’re used to heat and warm temps, but is it a humid heat? Any hints/tips/tricks/recommendations are appreciated!
