What would you do if you finished your meal and realized your forgot your wallet at home?

Wife and I went to dinner last night and when the bill came when I realized I had somehow left my wallet at home (still not sure how I managed this) and my wife didn't bring hers as I was driving.

Wasn't an issue as it was a place we go regularly and my wife just stuck around while I drove the 10 minutes home to grab it but it made me wonder what I would have done if I was on my own as I had never been in this situation.
