DTLA luxury high-rises all have horrible reviews?
I'm moving to LA from San Diego and searching for apartments, and I see these luxury-branded high-rises in DTLA, especially South Park, that look really nice. They have nice finishes, ammenities (rooftop pools, clubhouses/lounges, etc) -- maybe not "luxury," but definitely higher end and nice-looking.
But then I read the Yelp reviews... Seemingly every high-rise building has a bunch of horrible reviews, saying things like:
- It's super noisy, the tenants are shady, management is horrible
- Strangers enter the building, packages are frequently stolen, bikes and cars are stolen (inside the building), crimes happen inside the building
- Unsanitary conditions, feces on the floor, rat infestations, non-functioning garbage disposal systems so people leave trash out.
This is literally EVERY building.
How true is this? Are these places really that bad?
