Is Patriotism on decline ?

When I was younger, people used to talk about our country with pride all the time like things we will do to take the country to the big stage etc etc . At home, in school, even in random chat, patriotic discussions or desh-hit me jaari was were common.

Now? These conversations are rare. The younger generation barely talks about it. Something has changed, and I can't pin down exactly or when it happened.

Maybe it's because we're all so connected to the world through our phones now or maybe not . Or maybe young people just show their love for the country differently than we used to.

Everyone seems to be in a race, everything sounds like a scam, everything sounds like a made up story.

Even the dreams I used to have in past had a lot of deshbhakti, doing things for the country etc etc but now rarely I get those dreams. Am I over worried or overthinking?

What do you think? Have you noticed this change too? I'd really like to know if others feel the same way.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
