Women want tall guys, while themselves are short, what if their sons take their height?

Like ,I wonder, that this system of choosing taller guys, is very contradicting. Idk why is it so, maybe they think it as a biological superiority, a win for them, but if that really is a biological superiority then why not choose taller women as well? As it will increase the likelihood of a taller son! In addition it will help curb down the discrimination short guys face.

Also, one more question, women who strictly want a taller men, while themselves being 5'5-5'6 , how will you react if your son takes your height? There's 50-50 chance. Would you see you son as biologically inferior like you have seen guys in past?
