Recommendations for step down transformer 220 - 110v for around 1000W

Hi everyone,

I've been on the fence for a while now about buying a Japanese appliance (yes its the expensive toaster) but I live in Europe so I'll need a transformer. I know very little about this subject and I was hoping to get some advice/guidance here.

The toaster is rated for 930w and there's my first question, would a 930W transformer be sufficient or do you need to have a little margin? If so, how much margin would be a good rule of thumb?

And are there any brands or models you can recommend? Ones to avoid?

Also, would you have any recommendations for small units or is that really not possible for this wattage?
What would be the smallest 1000W unit that's worth recommending?

And maybe there are other obvious things regarding transformers I've never thought about.
