Does having a stuffy nose take away some of the taste and smell?

23F, I have a very blocked nose and I think I have blocked sinuses, and I don't smell much apart from strong odors, and I also have a sense of taste but less pronounced, is a blocked nose can cause this? I don't think I have covid because I haven't had any fatigue, fevers or other stronger symptoms? can a doctor help me?
