Searching for a good but reasonable priced restaurants in Barcelona

I got a list of best restaurants from a friends friend. Unfortunately the list contained only fine dining and above and all the recommended places were super expensive.

Is there any reasonable priced, but yet popular/tasty restaurants in the central area? I’m with my 18y son and we are staying close to the Hospital Clinic metro station.
