Can you mix gloss and matte varnish to make semigloss/satin?

I bought some gloss, matte and satin varnish for my acrylic paintings and figured I prefer satin the most. But now I have a whole bottle of gloss and whole bottle matte varnish that I don't want to go to waste (I'm using Liquitex liquid varnishes) - can I mix the 2 together to make satin?
