What should new players focus on at first?

I’m new to the game and this sub. I don’t usually have any trouble learning games and I’ve always loved tactical/milsim shooters.

I’m finding it hard to figure out what to learn/get good at first. Something you can do while solo queuing or with a friend.

Maybe any squads/people I can roll wit n learn more from?
