New tank and learning
We have had fish tanks for a while, but the plastic centerpieces and fake plants always bothered me. At some point I started adding plants to our little 5 gallon and started enjoying the life it brought to the tank.
I was about to restart our 20 gallon when a 60 gallon cube went on sale. After a little measuring it turned out to be exactly the right size for our space… over the last few months we acquired hardscape from Aquarocks Colorado, then a few weeks later plants, then a few weeks later we started adding fish. Now we have a 60 gallon community tank and I am pretty proud of it so far.
It is a 60 Gallon aqueon tank Fluval 407 Fluval plant 3.0 Amazonian soil
We have a hill stream loach, some danios and rasporas currently.
I’ve learned a lot with this tank setup but so far I am very happy with it.
