indian almond leaf powder

I want to get this for my boyfriend at Christmas. But I'm no way as good as most people with aquariums, I've had one goldfish in my life 🤣.

He's been trying to tan his water but it's not been working, I was wondering if this would do the trick? It looks good and it looks like it would work with his tanks fish too!

I just want to get some opinions on whether or not I should get it :) thank you!
