Plan B: Non-Ivy League School

I've been eyeing to go to Yale for college. I was a consistent "A" student before but life has been hard on us recently and my grades have dropped. I doubt I can make it to Yale or any Ivy League school. I'm super anxious coz I've been waiting for this year all my life and now it's just going downhill. So please help, what's the best non-Ivy-league school you recommend preferably in or nearby Connecticut?
