New LG top loader comparison
Hi all - I have narrowed down my search for a new top load washer and electric dryer to the following two LG models:
It seems the 8405 is the current year version of the 7405. Aside from some styling updates and new jargon, they seem pretty similar. Only reason I’m considering the 7405 is we prefer the graphite steel finish. Price is basically the same for me and the discounts I can get.
I guess my question comes down to - is newer always better? Is it a no brainer to get the newer model? Im not sure how much I need to “future proof” my purchase here as I see most of the AI / WiFi features mostly a gimmicks. Would love anyone’s perspective who’s experienced here. Thanks!
