Running away/ moving put @ 16

So I really wanna move out. I'm 16 turning 17 in November. My boyfriend has offered I runaway/move in with him in tasmania (I'm on the mainlands) I've done research and I can leave without parental permission now that I'm of age. I said maybe when I'm 17 so I have more freedom but I don't want to wait till the end of the year to see him. If I run away/ move out At 16 instead of 17 my boyfriend said he'd come get me. There is nothing wrong with my home life and I have a good relationship with my parents, I'm just ready to leave and I know my parents wouldn't let me leave if I told them I wanted to. (I've tried before) I just need some tips and/or advice. Is it better I leave at 17? Or should I just bite the bullet? EDIT: Also if i MOVE OUT I would talk to my parents of I RUNAWAY I wouldn't be. Just FYI
