Got a question was I the asshole

Today my dad picked me up from school I hopped in and said thank you I appreciate it and went to my book. He asked how was school I said fine, he asked anything exciting I said no just a normal Monday. He then was talking and trying to get something with my sister so I asked what’s up he told me then I asked what did he say in the group chat and then 5 seconds later I said sorry wrong person he then kept pushing I said I was talking about the wrong person than he started to yell at me saying I’m acting all moody and that why was it my concern about my sister or why did it seem I didn’t appreciate him picking me up. We then got to our destination I explained it was a normal day and for the last 10 minutes he was complaining about my sister that’s why i asked then I said it was a misunderstanding with the group chat he then got out said i must be crazy and how I was wrong then left for a pickup did I do something wrong 15 btw.
