Having problems editing text

So, a few days ago I started experiencing an issue where if I attempted to edit any text spewed out by the AI, it would display the save and cancel buttons over the text box.

The issue with this is that these two buttons act as a barrier that does not allow me to edit anything. I can still type or erase everything and just type up what I want to the T, but usually I only want to edit one or two things in particular.

Also, I can still type up personal inputs myself, it is only when I try to edit text that this issue occurs.

Is there some sort of fix for this?
