Post-interview reflection
Been about a week since my maths interview at Kings College, Cambridge and I’m almost certain I won’t be offered a place.
My first interview was quite shaky; I answered my two questions but I feel I needed too many prompts, and honestly sounded stupid the whole way through. My second interview, however, was honestly amazing and I answered 3 questions correctly with time for questions at the end.
However, I don’t feel that my application was strong enough to be offered a place or even get pooled. I did not answer as many questions as others on the pre-interview assessment and to my shock, maths applicants I met on the day all seemed to take 5 a levels.
Is there still a chance of an offer, or should I consider reapplying next year? I wanted to apply because of certain modules that I knew I would enjoy, that my other choices do not offer.
