concerningly unbothered
Might not be the best place to post with all the try hards here, but I've got to get this off my chest. I genuinely feel no care about which uni I go to, what course I should take, or what career I should try for.
It's a problem cuz I'm in year 13, deadlines are fast approaching and I still haven't finished my personal statement or filled out the rest of my UCAS. There's people already getting offers from top unis and I'm over here barely getting through mocks because I truly can't be asked.
I'm not even too bothered about my grades anymore. If I try, I know I could get the grades. But what's wrong with going to a uni with less prestige? Why does everyone sacrifice so much to get the best possible grades to go to the best possible unis? Is it not possible to get a respectable profession using education from an okay university, and some work experience?
That said, I'm probably just be uneducated on the subject of unis. All I've heard about top unis are, they have bad professors, low student satisfaction, poor communities, etc.
All things considered, taking a gap year to get some experience and figure things out doesn't sound too bad.
Need some guidance plez 🙏 (is bro tryna lower the competition🔥🔥🔥 nah i'm fr)
