Fantasy/40k connections

I'm the kind of person who enjoys deep diving into the lore of the factions the pique my interest. Most recently, that involves looking into the Aeldari pantheon of gods. I've noticed that for a few, there's a link to the fantasy wiki, as well as the information we know from 40k novels and such. Since the Eldar is such an ancient race, could I consider information from the fantasy games/books to be considered 40k lore?
