Best filaments for extended outdoor use?
Hi all! I've got it in my head that my front yard will not be complete without a velociraptor skeleton (I'd love to do deinonychus, but there's just not enough space). Before I start digging through research publications for a scan to use, I'm trying to figure out which filaments would be best suited to year round outdoor use (unfortunately I'm in the northeast US so we have hot/humid summers and freezing winters). I can definitely do some post printing processing (poly, epoxy, etc.) but want to make sure my base print will survive out there. I don't have an adequate ventilation system for ABS (honestly not even sure that'd be a contender) so I'm leaning away from that, but maybe PETG would work? Thoughts, suggestions, experiences? Happy to post a picture of the final print if it ever comes together!
