Carchy - the new benchmark model
Hi everyone. As soon as I discovered the news about 3D Benchy, I wanted to give something to our community. So here it is - Carchy - a new benchmark model inspired by the old one. Right now, it's still not fully finished, but I wanted to share my progress.
Right now, it has: Bridging test Overhangs Flat top surface First layer test (text on the bottom) Accuracy test (dimensions are rounded to full numbers for the ease of measuring) Symmetry (right and left side) Stringing Layer shifting Small round holes (car lights and exhaust) Stepping Sharp corners
What is to come: Interior details Ringing/ghosting test Roundness test (I will add wheels) "Snap" test (wheels will snap onto the model allowing it to roll) Pdf guide with tips on what to fix with your print. Website with tips and tricks

P.s. for anyone wandering, I'm publishing this model under CC BY-SA 4.0, so it will be free to modify by anyone as long as they say it's based on my model and it's under the same license.
