Large dark spots- can I do anything?

I’m 35 and have some large dark spots on my face and hands thanks to my skin type (lots of freckles and moles) and years of sun exposure. The large one pictured on my face is the one that bothers me the most. Are these too far gone and I should just accept them, or are there some miracle cures I’m not aware of? Thanks!!
