Double stroller or standing board ?

Hi mamas. I apologise if this has been asked before but what are your opinions on getting a double stroller vs the more economical choice of attaching a standing board ?

Currently have an Uppababy Cruz and do like the ease of folding it in and out. Don’t think I can handle anything much heavier and bulkier. But it’s not about me!

In your opinion is is a standing board feasible when you have a toddler ? Will they quietly stand in it or eventually demand to sit in a pram or to be carried ?
